Wa Municipal: 66th Independence Day Celebration, Senior Victory College bags home 1st Prize

Wa Municipal: 66th Independence Day Celebration, Senior Victory College bags home 1st Prize

Senior Victory College of the leading private schools in the Upper West Region has today March 6, 2023 proven the significance of its name victory by securing to itself the prestigious position during the 66th Independence Day Celebration held in Wa.

The school was among over 15 primary and preparatory schools that took their turn during the match pass at the Wa Jubilee Park.

At the end of the parade Senior Victory College showed the over 15 Primary schools the real meaning of victory by securing the first position in the match pass contest after polling to itself 78% leaving its close contenders Sweet Mother and Yibele Primary Schools with 72% and 65% respectively.

In an interaction with the winners, management, staff and the entire student body of Senior Victory College expressed their joy over the successes choked.

“We came prepared to conquer and we have conquered, we are not surprised, we were well positioned for the first position and by God’s grace we’ve won it”.

The Wa Municipality joins the rest of the country in celebrating the 66th Independence Anniversary as today March 6, 2023 marks the 66th year after Ghana got itself out of its colonial masters rule and since became independent. The month of March is christined Ghana’s Month and the entire country takes retrospective look into the toils and struggle for Ghana to be free of the british rule.

About Senior Victory College;

The school got established in 2010 as a senior High school and later changed to a pre-school and basic school in 2017.
It is accredited by the National Schools Inspectorate Authority and Social welfare Department, Registrar General’s Department, recognized by Ghana Education Service, and the National Association of private schools. It has a Crèche, Nursery, KG, Primary and JHS.

It also offer a professional diploma in business studies with accreditation from Technical Education Unit.

Short-term skills training in the following areas are also taught;

Diploma in business studies (DBS).
Bakery and pastries making.
Smock material weaving and sewing.
Capacity training in leadership and organizational development
Events and Awards organization and many more.

Its mission is to provide excellent, affordable and results oriented in Ghana.

The School got its name from the CEO Mr. Mumuni Sulemana affectionately called Senior Abudi, former Upper West Regional Director of the National Youth Authority, former Head of Programms nad Operations NYA, now Northern Regional Director of the National Youth Authority who also takes care if the North East and the Savannah regions.
