NPP Regional Women’s Organiser Seeks Re-election, Calls for Continuity and Unity
The incumbent Upper West Regional Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially declared her intention to seek re-election, centring her campaign on a proven track record of grassroots mobilisation and economic empowerment.
In a heartfelt statement released to the press and party faithful via Facebook, she anchored her bid in faith and a "clear conscience," urging delegates to choose "tested hands" as the party prepares for its next political chapter.
A Legacy of Results and Stewardship
Reflecting on her tenure, the Women’s Organiser emphasised that her leadership has been defined by tangible results rather than mere rhetoric. Key highlights of her service include:
Grassroots Mobilisation: Maintaining active engagement across all constituencies in the Upper West Region to fortify the party's base and internal structures.
Economic Empowerment: Equipping women with vital entrepreneurial skills through vocational training programmes such as soap-making and other initiatives designed to provide financial independence for rural women.
Strategic Leadership: Building a robust engagement with the rank and file of the party, leading direct consultations with polling station women organisers and opinion leaders to align party goals with the genuine needs of the people.
"I represent continuity with progress, experience with passion, and loyalty with action," she stated. "The battle ahead is not for the unprepared."
Acknowledging the complexities of political leadership, the organiser extended an olive branch to any members who may have felt aggrieved during her term.
"To all my party members and executives, if in the course of my work I have stepped on toes or offended anyone, I ask for your forgiveness," she pleaded, reaffirming that her primary motivation has always been to put the NPP first and ensure a united front.
With the party focused on a comeback strategy for the 2028 general elections, she underscored the importance of a "decisive" Women’s Wing. She noted that her deep understanding of the region’s internal dynamics makes her the ideal candidate to navigate the challenges ahead and secure a victory for the party.
“Let us finish the work we began,” she urged. “Together, we will change the narrative and bring the NPP back to power.”
