The Office of the former Member of Parliament for Lawra, Hon. Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, has announced a comprehensive financial intervention for New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in the constituency. This is seen as a strategic move to bolster party unity and streamline the upcoming internal reorganisation of the party.

As the NPP begins its grassroots reorganisation, Hon. Karbo has committed to absorbing the full cost of nomination forms and membership dues for all delegates within the Lawra constituency.

The intervention is designed to ensure that the polling station elections remain inclusive and accessible to all, removing financial barriers that might otherwise hinder dedicated party members from participating in the democratic process.

The support package includes:
Full Payment of Nomination Forms. This will involve covering the costs for all aspiring delegates and the settlement of dues, ensuring all delegates are in good standing without personal financial strain.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr Dickson Desire, Personal Assistant to the former MP, confirmed that administrative arrangements are already finalised. To ensure transparency and efficiency, the payments will be settled directly through the Lawra Constituency Elections Committee.
