Dvelopment Alert. Jirapa Municipality On The Rise

It was joy and excitement for the people of Jirapa as unity and development took centre stage.

On Thursday, April 16, the Member of Parliament, Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Peter N.N. To-ang, joined forces to cut sod for several major infrastructure projects.

This massive rollout is set to transform the face of education and water access across the municipality.

A brand new 3-unit classroom block featuring an office, staff common room, and modern sanitation facilities at Hain, while Siiri will get a matching 3-unit classroom block to ensure students have a conducive environment for learning.

At Ganaa Primary, a specialised 2-unit Kindergarten block is provided for the youngest learners to give them the best possible start.

17 New Boreholes are being drilled and fitted with Afrodev hand pumps in selected communities to end the water struggle.

While the municipality is large and its needs are many, the MCE is urging all communities to remain patient. The goal is clear: No community will be left behind in this development drive.
