Welcome to the Upper West Region, esteemed Chairman. I am among those who championed this tour when you faced public backlash for undertaking a thank-you tour following the president's visit. Prior to this, there were doubts about whether you would indeed visit the Upper West Region. Nonetheless, here you are, commencing your tour today in this very region.

On Wednesday, you will engage with stakeholders in DBI at a venue that, despite my unfamiliarity with who selected it, seems to be an excellent choice due to its historical significance to your engagement.

Notably, in December 2024, your campaign team met with us at the same venue, where, characteristically, you delivered an infectious message that united our ranks for the historic election, significantly contributing to our victory in DBI.

During that meeting, you notably addressed individuals such as Zumakpee Fedelis, Zumakpee Emmanuel, Mikel Kombor, and Abu, cautioning them that failure to secure the DBI parliamentary seat would result in their exclusion from appointments, while promising them positions if we won. You also promised that Hon. Sebastian Sandaare would be considered for a ministerial role, a pledge that elicited enthusiastic applause and cheers, boosting our morale and galvanizing our efforts.

We worked tirelessly, with these individuals making significant contributions to our eventual victory, a result that surprised many, including the NPP. Following our assumption of power on December 7, 2025, the landscape shifted, with each person advocating for appointments not merely as rewards but as opportunities to serve. Although you may not have directly overseen appointments, your influence is undeniable.

Regrettably, the aforementioned individuals remain unappointed, and Hon. Sebastian Sandaare has not been considered for a ministerial position. Many young supporters like myself, who felt we had given our all, are now disappointed, left to hear consolatory remarks about waiting for our turn. As we prepare to meet with you, memories of that pivotal day linger, particularly the choice of venue, which seems fitting given the historical context.

As a steadfast supporter who stood by you during challenging times and given my commitment to purposive activism, I am compelled to ask critical questions on behalf of our people. You have consistently energized grassroots supporters in a unique way, and I believe the next election's success hinges on leveraging this charisma to address the current discontent among those feeling forgotten. It is not too late to make a positive impact. I look forward to seeing you soon in DBI and wish to reiterate my welcome to the Upper West Region.

Sincerely,
Denis Andaban
The Village Boy From DBI.
