Good Causes Foundation under the auspicies of the Ghana National Lottery Authority has supported Bahass Foundation with items worth GH¢15,000 as a form of motivating and supporting the crucial services of the foundation.

The non governmental foundation (Bahass Foundation) which takes care of people with mental illness in the Upper West Region and beyond ensures that mentally ill persons are bathed, clothed and fed to make life comfortable for this almost neglected section of the society.

“The Good Causes Foundation is the corporate social wing basically, the charity arm of the National Lottery. We aim to make arm in society no matter how small. We are here just to appreciate the work he is doing, see the people he works after”.

She continued “The NLA Good Causes Foundation and the NLA Act mandates us to work with people who are afflicted in society. So it falls much in line with the work we do. Sometimes people will say that if someone plays the lottery and don’t win what happens to the money what do you do, do you just spend it, these are some of the things we do, we try to make a little difference in other people’s life”.
