Former President John Dramani Mahama also the NDC 2020 flagbearer has indicated the commitment of the National Democratic Congress in completing all the 200 community day Senior High Schools (E-blocks) project when voted into power.
He said the next government of the NDC will re-introduce its policy of making Arabic as an examinable subject in the second cycle institutions. He said it will encourage Muslims communities to send their wards to schools and also stand the chance of being developed through education.
Mr. Mahama further stated that his next government will see to the completion of all the projects that started under them but got stalled after the NDC lost power to the NPP.
Mr. Mahama made this known at the Upper West Regional Chief Imaams office during a courtesy call made on the chief Imaam as part of his 4-day visit to the Upper West Region.
Meanwhile, Upper West Regional Chief Imaam Alhaj Osuman Mahama Kanihi through a representative urged the former president and the NDC to do clean campaign devoid of vilification so that the peace of the country can still be maintained before during and after the 2020 general elections.
