Credible and incontrovertible information garthered by Radio waa indicates that the race for the Wa Central parliamentary seat ahead of the 2020 elections is not going to be a two-horse race after all.
Deep throat sources have revealed that the National Youth Organiser of the PNC, Awudu Ishaq is lacing his boots behind the stage to join the race in the scramble for the lofty Wa Central Constituency. The thorough bred young but experienced politician has been under pressure from the leadership of the PNC to represent the party ahead of the 2020 elections.
It appears that he has finally succumbed to that pressure and there is a very high possibility that he would surely throw his hat into the ring. If this happens, the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress would have a lot of opposition to deal with as this young man is highly popular and very much liked across the political spectrum in the Wa Central constituency especially among the Youth.
Having risen through the political ranks and gaining considerable experience as a constituency, regional and now a national executive of the party, his network within the political space can never be discounted and he surely would never be a pushover in the election.
Though yet to officially declare his intention, Mr Awudu Ishaq’s very close confidants have so far given the clearest of indications that the decision to contest for the Wa Central seat in the 2020 elections is a foregone conclusion. Will he or will he not contest? Watch www.myradiowaa.com keenly.
