The former constituency secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Wa Central Constituency, Mr. Iddris Bomson has trashed out the personality of the Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaj Issahaku Tahir Moomin for forceful taking away a party vehicle from his residence in a ‘Rambow style’. The outgone secretary further threatened to jinx the MCE for being ungrateful to him after he sacrifices all his properties to aid the MCE financially during his parliamentary crusades.
The apoplectic former Wa central constituency Secretary could not contain his fury and went further to revealed that, he has given his Rav4 car to the then parliamentary aspirant of the NPP party, now MCE to use when his car got broken, adding that, the car alone has serve the party in the constituency for 8years.
He further stressed that, he trade his job for the party in 2010 when he was working with Unilever Ghana after he was asked to choose between his job and politics and he tendered in for politics to the detriment of his job adding that, he never knew he was serving an ‘ungrateful person’.
“If this is the way I will be paid after investing everything of mine into the party, I even trade my job for politics, when I was working with Unilever in 2010, I was asked to choose between my job and politics and chose politics, today look at what is happening to me, I leave Isaac to God” he fumed.
The heart bleeding Boomson who could not control himself any longer when speaking to Abu Bipolee on Radio Waa’s Yelkaabahe yesterday, went to the extreme to revealed an untold story that, the MCE diverted 2 party motorbikes sent in to be distributed to party members to his girlfriend and also detained one of them which is yet to be registered by the DVLA for his night rounds.
However, this got into the public domain yesterday when the MCE was alleged to have sent in heavily armed police personnel who stormed the house of the furious secretary in a ‘Rambo’ style in his absence to forceful confiscate the GMC vehicle, with the private registration number Lion 16-15 in the presence of the secretary’s mother. According to Bomson, the car was given to him by Hon. Issahaku in place of his Ford vehicle which was supposed to be given to him per their bargain but was rather diverted to the MCE’s uncle.
The family of the former secretary has since yesterday lodged an official complaint to the police after they were told by the confiscators that, their action was sanctioned by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaj Issahaku Tahir Moomin
Meanwhile, the MCE when contacted declined to comment on the matter.
