The Ghana National Tailers and Dressmakers Association (zone 4) of Upper West Regional Chapter has successfully graduated 179 apprentices who successfully went through thorough training and have passed all the necessary tests to be graduated.
The passing out ceremony was held on February 25, 2022 at the Wa Jubilee Park.
National Chairman of the Ghana National Tailors and Dress Makers Association (GNTDA) Mr. Thomas Bomanere, encourages both men and women to take self employment serious stressing that the government’s payroll is full.
He charged parents to enroll their wards into tailoring and dress making to help build a better future for them.
The Chairman also revealed that plans are underway for the Upper West Region to play host of the other 16 regions come next two months.
Mr. Thomas appreciated the commitment of both masters and the apprentices now graduates during and after the three year of intensive training.
He urged the graduates who are now going to be masters on their own to take human relationship (customer relation) very serious since that’s the only way to improve their skills.
Meanwhile, the occasion brought together several dignitaries and key players within the dress making and fashion design industries.
