The Paramount Chief of the Jirapa Traditional Area, Naa Ansoleh Ganaa II has revealed that the chiefs and people of the Jirapa Traditional Area come 2020 general elections will choose a candidate that they can trust and be proud of.
He said this year’s elections will done base on track records adding that his people are well clear of the comparable track records and the glaring difference.
“Be sure that now there are comparable tracks and the difference: my people and I can tell, bit let this not be mistaken that I am making politics, far from that because the total development of my traditional area is of paramount interest to me and no stone will be left unturned in doing just that” Naa Ansoleh noted.
Meanwhile the Paramount Chief of the Jirapa Traditional Area has appealed to former President John Dramani Mahama to consider establishing a government owned radio station in Jirapa when he becomes the next president of Ghana after the December polls stressing that the roads will the Jirapa enclave needed to be upgraded to connect hence his call to President Mahama (former) to consider tarring the roads for them.
He again appealed to the NDC’s Presidential candidate to establish a technical/vocational training institute in Jirapa to help shape the youth and equip them with needed skills to contribute to socio-economic development of the area.
This appeals were made in Jirapa during the former President’s visit to Jirapa as part of his 4-day tour of the Upper West Region.
