Deputy Upper West Regional police commander ACP Peter Ndekugri has debunked claims that his car somersaulted leaving him in a critical condition. In a shot video recorded and shared with Radio Waa he admitted having an accident but indicated he is fine and busy working in his office.
It was earlier reported that commander had accident with the regional commander’ official land crusher vehicle leaving him in a critical condition but speaking to Radio Waa’s Issaka Abubakar, he said the vehicle’s right front tyre busted that made it veered off the road into a gutter making him lose control and crushed the right side of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, onlookers who witnessed the incident noted that the deputy police commander was trying to overtake a vehicle and runs into a gutter resulting the tyre bust and he lost control of the vehicle leading to the crushing of the right side of the vehicle.
ACP Ndekugri said after the incident, he went to hospital for medical check up as he was ordered by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to conduct the medical check up stressing that the check up results revealed that he was 80% fit.
