National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joeseph Akamba has revealed that Ghanaians are yearning for a messiah to save them from the current ‘terror’ NPP’s government.
He was speaking at the swearing in ceremony of a 23 member regional campaign team to achieve NDC’s agenda 11 seats for Mahama in the Upper West Region.
Akamba said the exercise is very important to the victory of the NDC come 2020 general elections stressing that, with this campaign team, there is no doubt that, the NDC will win the 11 parliamentary seats in the Upper West Region with former president and flagbearer of the NDC John Dramani Mahama been elected as president to deliver on his promises.
“The first time soldiers are involved in our elections, the one time human rights lawyer, who has thrown away all his CVs and has become a terror. The NDC has done its research and the people of Ghana are yearning for the messiah, John Dramani Mahama to save them from the hands of the terror led NPP government”.
The all inclusive regional campaign team leader Chairman, Abdul Nasirdeen Saaani (Bunas) indicated that, the NDC in the Upper West Region has no excuse to lose any seat in the region, adding that, they will deliver all the 11 seat to the flagbearer of the Party John Dramani Mahama as requested.
Meanwhile the National elections Director cum parliamentary candidate of the Party for the lawra constituency, Hon. Bede Ziedeng said sub-committees will be constituted at the constituency levels to support bring the NDC back to power urging all party members who are not part of the regional campaign team to see themselves as the strength of the team.
