The immediate ex- Wa Suntaa Sporting Club head coach Kandumah Abdul Aziz John has pledged his love and support to his former boss Orlando Wellington to breed success on his honeymoon season with the Believe family.
“I entreat everyone to support Orlando to the fullest, to gain the region a topflight football come next season or to at least maintain the club’s Division One status for other clubs from the region to join”. he postulated on Sports Panenka show via Radio Waa.
The appointment of the former Numbu United tactician has rekindled the hopes of the club’s faithfuls; as they believe that a Premier League status is a centimetre from hatching following his acquisition.
Orlando won’t be doing the magic all alone. He’s clouded by former Tietaa FC coach Saeed Adinan Ablaadi as his assistant; Nurideen Fire and Nba Ali – as his team manager and goalkeeper’s trainer respectively.
Meanwhile, Legion of the Believers are left dismayed by the club’s decision to exclude Kandumah John from the technical team – who has parachuted the club from Division Two to Division One status in a blistering fashion; going a staggering 1,710 minutes without a defeat. A run many describe as Shakespearean. Kandumah Abdul Aziz John, Ex- Coach Suntaa SC.
He again won the club its first and only trophy – the Wa Naa’s Cup in 2016. His achievements will forever remain in the club’s history pages, fans minds and hearts.
On the other hand, my sources from an upper echelon of the team, say Kandumah John was offered a different role aside the head coach assignment, which he declined.
“The Beyond Football” club would hope that Orlando does his magic as a top notch gaffer to lead the team to a rosy land. Having won the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2009 with the Black Satellites of Ghana. To this day Ghana is the only African Nation with that feat.
